About Wolds College
The Wolds College is available for a full range of students to gain qualifications in applied learning courses in Motor Vehicle Engineering, Construction and Hair and Beauty.
Our Managed Learning Environment has been specifically designed to meet the latest industry and educational standards. A place where 14-19 year olds use state of the art equipment to learn skills that are required by employers or that will lead them on to further training in the future.
By engaging with employers across all curriculum areas we can help shape learning. This helps to plug skill gaps whilst proving access to future employees who can make a real difference within organisations.
In addition, we want employers to use our ‘industry standard facilities’ to improve overall business performance. This can be through the provision of focused and tailored training using our workshops, salons and educational areas or by hiring our video conferencing and meeting rooms.
In short, we are a community facility. This means being flexible to the needs of the local community (students, schools, parents, businesses) and putting on events and courses that they want. We are here to be used and we would urge you all to contact us and get involved in what is a very exciting, dynamic and innovative learning environment.
