Construction
Curriculum Co-coordinator - Chris Jones
We have a fully equipped construction workshop area for the provision of Bricklaying, Painting and Decorating, Plastering and Plumbing courses. Further courses such as Health and Safety will supplement the main training activity and add to your overall experience.
The course lecturers are all highly qualified members of the teaching staff many with a great deal of industry experience within the construction industry.
All courses take place at the Wolds College with support coming from work on sites at local construction companies or within the classroom environment when required.
The courses are ideally suited to people wanting to enter a practical trade within the construction industry.
Motor Vehicle Engineering
Curriculum Co-coordinator - Paul Ryan
We have a fully equipped workshop area for the provision of a full range of courses in Motor Vehicle Repair and Body Work courses. Further courses such as Health and Safety will supplement the main training activity and add to your overall experience.
All training within the Motor Vehicle area will be provided by The Cordeaux School and the course lecturers have been employed specifically to teach in this area. All are highly qualified members of the teaching staff many with a great deal of industry experience within the Motor Vehicle Repair trade.
All courses take place at the Wolds College with support coming from work within mechanics workshops or body work centre’s or within the classroom environment when required.
The courses are ideally suited to people wanting to enter the Motor Vehicle Trade at a practical level.
Hair and Beauty
Curriculum Co-coordinator – Julie Moore
We have a fully equipped salon, sauna and massage area for the provision of Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Nail Services and Holistic Therapy courses. Further courses such as Health and Safety will supplement the main training activity and add to your overall experience.
All training within the Hair and Beauty section is provided by Grimsby Institute and the course lecturers are all highly qualified members of the teaching staff many with a great deal of industry experience within the beauty industry.
All courses take place at the Wolds College with support coming from work within beauty organsations or within the classroom environment when required. Commercial Salons takes place in the Graduate Salon in Aswell Street.
The courses are ideally suited to people wanting to enter the beauty or hairdressing industry.
